Juicebox details come from Juicebox’s public pricing, product and documentation pages, checked October 14, 2026.
Pin is built for recruiting teams that want sourcing, outreach and interview scheduling in one product, and it is trusted by 2,000+ organizations and 20,000+ users. SHRM found AI use in HR tasks reached 43% of organizations in 2025, up from 26% in 2024. Some comparisons call Pin a solo-recruiter tool. This one checks Pin and Juicebox against their current public pages.
Pin vs Juicebox: what is the short answer?
- Pin is a team tool, not a solo tool. Professional ($135 per user per month, billed annually) includes team collaboration, a shared inbox, admin seats and team activity reporting, with no seat cap. Juicebox Growth caps at five seats.
- Pin covers sourcing, multi-channel outreach, interview scheduling and a shared inbox in one product. Five seats on Pin Professional cost $675 a month on annual billing and include 10 AI agents. Five Juicebox Growth seats cost $895 before agents, which are a $199-per-agent monthly add-on, or $1,293 with two.
- Juicebox is good for teams that mainly need compensation estimates or warm-intro network sourcing, within a five-seat Growth cap.
- Both have AI agents, an MCP server, SOC 2 Type II, ATS integrations and third-party bias work, so test them on the same roles.

Is Pin only for individual recruiters and small agencies?
No. Pin has a one-seat Solo plan at $99 a month on annual billing, and solo recruiters and small agencies use it. But Pin’s team features and pricing are built for multiple users:
- Plans: team controls start at Professional ($135 per user per month annually), which includes team collaboration, a shared inbox, admin seats and team activity reporting. Business is custom-priced with unlimited seats, credits and agents, premium ATS integrations and a dedicated account manager.
- Shared pool and handoffs: a candidate pool with a dedupe layer, so two recruiters don’t contact the same person, plus sourcer-to-closer handoffs with the full outreach history.
- Shared inbox: one thread per candidate that any teammate can pick up.
- Reporting: funnel dashboards for pipeline velocity, conversion by stage and activity by recruiter.
- Agencies: a multi-client recruiting CRM with a Kanban pipeline per engagement and stale-candidate alerts.
Juicebox does team work too. According to its pricing page (October 2026), Growth lets you invite up to five teammates to collaborate on searches, shortlists and outreach, and Business adds hiring-manager seats, usage analytics and ATS or CRM integration. Pin’s team pages describe hiring managers
How do Pin and Juicebox compare on search and candidate data?
Pin says it searches 850M+ profiles across multiplessional networks, GitHub, Stack Overflow, open-r web. You can search in plain language, paste a job description, upload ideal résumés or import a role from your ATS. Each ranked candidate gets a fit score and an AI-written reason, and the model learns from accept and reject feedback across the team
Juicebox offers natural-language search over a stated 800 million profiles from “30+”s. It adds three data features worth knowing about:
- Talent Insights: a per-search report on locations, tenure, skills and employers, according to Juicebox’s documentation.
- Compensation Intelligence: pay estimates using Levels.fyi data, on Growth and Business, according to Juicebox’s blog.
- Network sourcing: warm introductions through employees’ connections, on Business only, according to Juicebox’s documentation.
Pin lists Talent Insights on Professional and Business too. Profile counts say little about quality, so run the same roles in both. If you are also pricing LinkedIn’s tool, see LinkedIn Recruiter alternatives.
How do outreach and channels compare?
Pin runs multi-channel sequences across email, LinkedIn and SMS: automated email steps plus AI-drafted LinkedIn and SMS tasks in the same sequence, which the recruiter sends. Pin reports those sequences deliver 5x better response rates than industry averages, benchmarked against LinkedIn’s published 10-25% InMail reply rates. Pin drafts each message from the candidate’s own profile signals and calibrates to your writing voice. Sequences adapt per candidate, any reply pauses the sequence, and every channel stays in one thread. The Free plan is email-only, multi-channel sequences start on Solo, and Professional includes five mailboxes per user.
Juicebox’s outreach page (October 2026) describes “email, calls, and social touches in one sequence,” automatic stop on reply and analytics by step and channel. Growth includes three mailboxes per seat, Business six. Its agents page describes agent outreach as email only.
Are Pin’s agents “set and run”?
No. Pin’s AI recruiting agent has two modes. In Assist, you approve each step. In Autopilot, the agent sources, screens and ranks, drafts outreach, sends the email steps, follows up on silence, schedules interviews and updates the ATS. LinkedIn and SMS steps queue as tasks with AI-drafted messages that the recruiter sends. Pin assists recruiters and never replaces them: closing and offers stay human. Human-in-the-loop guardrails apply, and every action appears in a feed. Pin saves recruiters 12 hours per week on sourcing and outreach combined, according to Pin’s 2026 user survey across 2,000+ organizations and 20,000+ users.
It is also steerable. Pin asks clarifying questions about the brief, such as “Is remote considered?”, and you refine in plain language. Josh Volinsky, Co-Founder of Synergy Search, says: “Pin makes sourcing candidates so natural and I love how you can just talk to it like it’s a recruiter on your team and it goes hunting.”
Pin’s MCP server lets you work from Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT or Codex: start searches, review candidates, tune the search in plain language and keep per-job memory. Pin says “You still approve every accept, reject, and outreach.” It is free on every paid plan.
Juicebox’s agents are steerable too. According to its agents page (October 2026), you recalibrate by chatting with the agent, with autonomy from fully hands-off to manual checkpoints at shortlist or sequencing. Its MCP server, launched in August 2026, launches agents and pulls usage and reply-rate reports. The agents page does not describe interview scheduling, and each agent is a separate $199 monthly add-on.
So the differences are scope and price, not steerability. For the wider field, see best AI recruiting agents.
How much do Pin and Juicebox cost for a team of five?
Five recruiters need Pin Professional or Juicebox Growth, because Juicebox Starter is one seat. Prices are list prices published October 14, 2026.
| Five seats | Pin Professional | Juicebox Growth |
|---|---|---|
| Per month, annual billing | $675 | $895 |
| Per year, annual billing | $8,100 | $10,740 |
| Per month, monthly billing | $895 | $995 |
| AI agents | 10 included (2 per user) | $199 each; two add $398 a month |
| Per year with two agents, annual billing | $8,100 | $15,516 |
| Contact credits per month | 5,000 included | 7,500 included |
| ATS integration | 120+ integrations; included on Business, add-on on Professional | Business plan only (custom-priced) |
Credits are metered differently. Pin charges 1 credit per personal email, work email or phone number. According to Juicebox’s credits documentation (October 2026), an email is 1 credit and a phone number is 3. Revealing email plus phone costs 2 credits on Pin and 4 on Juicebox, so the included allowance covers about 2,500 full contacts a month on Pin and 1,875 on Juicebox.
Past five recruiters, Juicebox requires Business, which is custom-priced and annual only.
Price history. According to Juicebox’s archived pricing pages, Growth cost $99 per seat per month billed annually in April 2024, with up to 10 seats and 250 contact credits. Today it is $179, up to 5 seats and 1,500 credits. In March 2026 alone, the monthly Growth price rose from $179 to $199 per seat, and agents moved from $300 for two to $199 each. Confirm current prices on Pin’s pricing page and on Juicebox’s own pricing page. For what reviewers say about the cost, see Juicebox AI reviews 2026.
What do Pin and Juicebox publish on security and governance?
Both list SOC 2 Type II. Pin’s trust center covers SOC 2 Type 2 (third-party audited), encryption at rest and in transit, and GDPR and CCPA readiness. Juicebox lists SSO and role-based access control.
On AI fairness, both vendors now have third-party work behind them. Pin uses third-party fairness audits and feeds no names, gender or protected characteristics to the AI, with checkpoints at every step and regular team reviews of AI outputs. Its trust center lists a Pin Algorithmic Fairness Report (August 2026), available on request.
Juicebox posts its audit dashboard publicly, hosted by Warden AI, a third-party assurance provider. It showed monthly audits of Juicebox’s Autopilot candidate-ranking feature, the latest dated August 6, 2026, with reports for NYC Local Law 144, the EU AI Act, Colorado and California.
Whichever tool you choose, request the bias documentation. Gartner’s 2025 survey of 2,918 job candidates found only 26% trust AI to evaluate them fairly. New York City’s Local Law 144 requires a bias audit within a year of using an automated employment decision tool. Ask counsel whether a sourcing tool counts.
Should you choose Pin or Juicebox?
For recruiting teams and agencies that want one product from sourcing through scheduling, Pin covers that whole flow.
Choose Pin if:
– You want sourcing, outreach, scheduling and ATS updates in one product, with a shared inbox.
– You have or expect more than five recruiters, or run an agency needing a multi-client CRM.
– You want agents included in the seat price, plus a free start.
Juicebox is good for:
– Teams that need hiring-manager seats to review shortlists, on its custom-priced Business plan.
– Teams that value compensation estimates (Growth and up) or warm-intro network sourcing (Business only).
When Pin is not the right fit: teams that only need high-volume inbound applicant screening.
What should you test in a trial?
Run both tools on the same three roles (hard to fill, non-tech, senior), then check:
- Quality: have a hiring manager blind-score the top 25 candidates from each.
- Teamwork: have two recruiters search the same role. Can both contact the same person? Can a closer see the sourcer’s full outreach history?
- Control: change the brief in plain language mid-run. What does the agent do without approval?
- Credit burn: reveal email and phone for 50 candidates and compare credits.
- Security: request the SOC 2 report, bias documentation and SSO terms.
Support matters too. Victoria Wright, Principal Recruiter at Odyssey, switched from Juicebox and says: “We switched to Pin from Juicebox because the customer experience was in a completely different league, from a personalized demo to a webinar that taught me more than any free trial could.”
