Here’s what you need to know about Prime Big Deal Days starting today, plus top deals to check out
Amazon’s second-biggest sale of the year has officially arrived. Prime Big Deal Days features two full days of significant discounts, providing an early opportunity to kick off your holiday shopping and secure major savings before the Black Friday rush begins.
Here is what you need to know about Prime Big Deal Days to help you shop more effectively, along with our top picks for the best deals currently available.
Prime Big Deal Days functions much like the Prime Day sale held in July, offering price cuts across categories such as home goods, fashion, technology, beauty, and furniture.
Prime Big Deal Days begins today, Tuesday, October 6, and continues through Wednesday, October 7. The event spans a total of 48 hours.
These promotions are exclusive to Amazon Prime members. If you are not yet a member, there are several ways to join. You can sign up for a standard membership, start a 30-day free trial, or, if you are between the ages of 18 and 24, take advantage of a 6-month Prime Student trial. A Prime membership grants you access to exclusive deals, free shipping, and early entry to Prime Day offers.
Both sales provide substantial discounts. While Prime Day takes place during the summer, Prime Big Deal Days occurs in the fall. You will find low prices across nearly every category during both events.
Big Deal Days includes markdowns on Apple devices, Owala water bottles, Bissell vacuums, Hanes essentials, beauty products, and more. If you missed out on the Prime Day event in June, now is your chance to purchase your favorite items.
To determine when specific deals expire, look for red text or badges on product pages that display an “Ends in” countdown clock. If you find an item you want, it is best not to wait for a better price. Costs rarely decrease further on the second day, and popular products are prone to selling out. If a price tracker indicates an item is at its lowest price in months, it is a smart time to buy.
Amazon Prime Big Deal Days features 48-hour promotions as well as new limited-time offers that rotate throughout each day. Amazon adds fresh deals multiple times daily. We will update our top recommendations as new offers emerge, so be sure to check back frequently for the latest updates.
While Prime Day is exclusive to Amazon and its Prime members, many other retailers are also hosting sales during this period, including Walmart, Kohl’s, Nike, Cozy Earth, Best Buy, and others.
